Jean-Baptiste Quentin le Jeune was a French violinist and composer of the 18th century. His music has catchy melodies, is varied and harmonically interesting. It is based in France, but shows a clear Italian influence. With minor changes, the part of viola da gamba can also be played on the viola. The pieces are of a medium level of difficulty and invite you to make music. Description by Edition Güntersberg
