Four slots: three to fit the head, center, and foot of most bass recorders, plus a fourth for things like a cap and bocal, the elbow joint of a knickbass, an extra center joint, or a music stand.  It also has a carrying handle with D-rings for a shoulder strap.  The case’s exterior is a dense cotton canvas with a water repellent treatment, and it’s lined with soft untreated cotton canvas with high-loft batting for padding. Machine washable, although the exterior will need to be re-treated afterward to regain its water repellency.
